Eagle F.C. Tryout Process

If your player’s age group has two tryout dates, it is highly recommended they attend both tryouts, so the coaches are able to accurately evaluate the player.

2022-23 Tryout Schedule

1. Registration: All players wishing to attend tryouts must register via the Eagle F.C. website (eagle-fc.com). There is no cost to tryout.
2. Specific Team info: Eagle F.C. club and team expectations, specifics on team playing level, and club budgeting will be shared with all new families at tryouts. All current Eagle F.C. families will receive information from the DOC and current Head Coach during the spring season.
3. Team Selection: Immediately following tryouts, roster selection begins. Based on evaluations made during tryouts, coaches and directors will form competitive teams within each age group.
4. Acceptance Email: You will receive an email within one week after tryouts regarding team acceptance. The invitation to a join a team will come from the Head Coach or Director of Coaching.
5. Acceptance Link: Within your acceptance email, you will receive an acceptance/registration link. The link will be sent to the email address associated with the account your family used to register for tryouts.
6. Confirmation and Acceptance: Upon acceptance to an Eagle F.C. team, you will be required to confirm your acceptance by paying a commitment fee that guarantees your player’s roster spot. The commitment fee is non-refundable.
7. Player Administration: Following confirmation and acceptance the Club Administrator or Club Registrar will contact families via email to collect any additional paperwork required to register the player with EPYSA. (i.e. Proof of Birthday, Medical Waiver and Player Headshot photo)
8. Uniforms: We are getting new kits this year. Each competitive field player needs to purchase a red kit, a gray kit and a black practice jersey. Goalies will need to purchase the goalie kits and a black practice jersey. You will receive an email from Angelo’s Soccer Corner that will provide an individual link for your player to purchase our new kits from our Eagle F.C. Store.
Individual players who are unable to attend a scheduled age group tryout should contact Brian Redding, Director of Coaching via email bredding@eagle-fc.com prior to tryouts to discuss alternative options.
