Dear Soccer Families,
My name is Christina Loss and I would like to introduce myself as the Interim Eagle FC Club President. Please join me in a profound thank you to my predecessor Kelly Dunn Fahnestock for her service to the club. I have two children who play for EFC at both the competitive level and the recreational level of our club. I have been an Executive Board member since September 2018, an Assistant Coach at the competitive level for the past four years and a Team Manager.
First and foremost, I would like to thank you for being a part of Eagle FC. As you know, our club is dedicated to supporting the components vital to our continued success: players, coaches, referees, and parents. We are an organization that exists only because of the volunteers and staff working behind the scenes ensuring its continued achievements.
We look forward to resuming soccer training and camps as soon as we are able, for now the PA Department of Health has clearly stated that no organized sports will be played until Cumberland County goes Green by Government Officials. For up to date information on our club and COVID-19 please visit our website, https://www.eagle-fc.com/covid-19-update/ . Eagle FC’s top priority is to provide a fun, safe, and rewarding soccer experience for all our players.
Thank you for supporting your child’s interest in soccer! If you have ideas or concerns, please reach out. We would like to hold our Annual General Meeting in the summer with the hopes that we are able to come together safely. Please plan to get involved with our program. Parental involvement is vital to ensure our program continues to remain a part of the local community. Open Board positions and advisory committee openings will be posted on our website in the near future. If there is anything, I can do for you as Club President, please do not hesitate to contact me directly. I hope to see you all at the fields this fall.
