Field Players – We put technical development and decision-making at the forefront of our curriculum. In addition, the Attacking and Defending Principles Camp will allow the more competitive player to learn skills, techniques, and decision-making that are critical in the Attacking and Defending phases of play. The camp will focus largely on individual player improvement but campers will also learn how these critical skills and decisions will translate to the team’s success. By the end of the camp, parents will see improvements in their child’s technical ability, decision-making, confidence, individual foot skills, creativity, defending, attacking ability, and their campers will certainly have had fun.

Goalkeepers: Keepers will receive keeper training for an hour each camp night. Keepers will then be placed in the goals for game action and game speed decision-making. The field players and keepers will be working together during this last hour to bring all concepts they are learning to the field and the goal together.

Campers Receive:

  • Campers will receive a camp T-shirt on Tuesday to wear on Wednesday.

Campers Bring:

Camp Director: Brian Redding joined Eagle FC as our Director of Coaching in November 2020. His most recent coaching stint was at Dickinson College where he served as the Men’s Head Soccer Coach. In the 16 seasons that Redding was in charge there, he guided the Dickinson Men’s Team to be a nationally recognized soccer program. Dickinson competed for numerous Conference Championships, qualified for numerous NCAA Tournament bids and had a record of 182-93-34 under Coach Redding’s lead. Coach Redding has spent decades coaching and teaching youth the fundamentals of soccer and is bringing this experience to the camp environment.

Goalkeeping Director: Coach Chaves will be leading the keeper training. Coach Chaves has extensive experience in the goal and brings a great amount of education and energy to his keeper training model. Coach Chaves has played in the goal professionally in Brazil, Armenia, Latia, and the U.S.

Additional Staff: Additional staff members will be current high-level club coaches that are former college or high school coaches, former college players, and current college players. In addition, some of our Eagle FC older club players will serve as helpers. Our coach to player ratio is approximately 1:10, and all staff members are committed to player development.
