TAMPA, Fla. & MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – The United Soccer League (USL) today unveiled the schedule for the 2023 USL W League season, confirming matches for all 65 teams. The season for the elite pre-professional league will kick off in May and culminate with the W League Final in mid-July.
The season will begin on May 6 when Stockton Cargo SC plays host to Oakland Soul SC at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT. Reigning W League champions South Georgia Tormenta FC will mount their title defense beginning on May 19 against expansion side Birmingham Legion FC at 7:30 p.m. ET.

A total of 380 games are slated to be played over the course of the regular season. Playoffs begin after the completion of the regular season. More information about the 2023 playoff structure will be released in the coming weeks.
As part of the USL’s commitment to its unique men’s and women’s pathways, 27 different W League clubs have at least one home doubleheader with their Championship, League One or League Two counterparts this season.
