MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – Eagle FC Women are excited to welcome BIG Ten Conference defender Lilly Burger for the 2026 USL W League season. A proven competitor, Burger joins the club after a standout seaon with the Penn State Nittany Lions, bringing defensive leadership, consistency, and high-level experience to Eagle FC’s back-line.
Burger enjoyed a standout 2025 campaign for the Nittany Lions, starting 15 of 20 matches and logging over 1,500 minutes of action in one of the NCAA’s toughest conferences. Her consistency and defensive composure allowed her to lead Penn State’s back-line, anchoring the defense against top programs throughout both Big Ten and non-conference play.
Her impact at the collegiate level has not gone unnoticed — TopDrawerSoccer.com listed Burger at No. 53 on its 2025 Women’s Freshman Top 100 rankings, marking her as one of the nation’s premier freshmen defenders and a player to watch.
Burger’s signing adds proven Big Ten experience and leadership to Eagle FC Women’s backline as the club prepares for the 2026 USL W League season.
Welcome Lilly pending USL W League and federation approval.
