MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – Eagle FC Women are excited to welcome SEC goalkeeper Megan Holland of the University of Kentucky for the 2026 USL W League season.
A composed and commanding presence between the posts, Holland brings elite Power Five experience, poise, and shot-stopping ability to Eagle FC’s defensive unit.
Holland enjoyed a standout 2025 campaign with Kentucky, making an immediate impact in one of the nation’s toughest conferences. During her freshman season, she earned SEC Defensive Player of the Week honors following a historic road performance at Texas A&M, where she recorded four saves and her first collegiate shutout, helping deliver Kentucky’s first-ever win over Texas A&M and the program’s first SEC road shutout since 2017.
She finished the season undefeated in SEC play (3-0-3) and played a key role in guiding the Wildcats to their first SEC Tournament win and a berth in the NCAA Tournament. In postseason play, Holland delivered one of the defining moments of Kentucky’s SEC Tournament run, making a crucial penalty-kick save against No. 17 Georgia during the quarterfinal shootout to keep the Wildcats alive and force sudden death.
Before arriving at Kentucky, Holland built an impressive pre-collegiate resume, earning multiple all-state and national honors while competing at the ECNL level.
