MECHANICSBURG, Pa. — Eagle FC Women are excited to welcome back Kansas State defender/midfielder Abby Freese for the 2026 USL W League season.
A native of Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, Freese rejoins Eagle FC after a productive summer in 2025, where she logged 500+ minutes for the club and scored one goal, contributing across multiple roles and providing valuable depth and consistency throughout the campaign.
Freese recently completed her freshman season at Central Michigan University, competing in the Mid-American Conference and making a strong transition to the Division I level. As a true freshman, she made 11 appearances (11 starts), while logging over 950+ minutes.
Before her collegiate career, Freese put together a decorated high school resume at Northern High School, helping lead the Polar Bears to a 50-8-3 overall record, a PIAA District 3 Championship (2023), and two Mid-Penn Division titles. She earned The Sentinel Player of the Year (2024) honors, was named to the Pennsylvania All-State Team, and collected three Mid-Penn Conference First Team selections, along with Mid-Penn Division Preseason MVP recognition.
Freese returns for another summer in red and white before continuing her collegiate career at Kansas State University in the Big 12 Conference.
Welcome back Abby, pending USL W League and federation approval.
