Thank you for considering Eagle FC. Below is a list that you can use to navigate and understand the tryout process. If you have questions, we are happy to assist. Please use the contact information at the bottom of the page.
Tryout procedures:
- Registration: All players wishing to attend tryouts must register. Our registration can be found on our website (eagle-fc.com). There is no cost to tryout.
- Specific Team Info: Eagle FC club and team expectations, specifics on team playing level, and club budgeting will be shared with all families at tryouts.
- Team Selection: Immediately following tryouts, roster selection begins. Based on evaluations made during tryouts, coaches and directors will form competitive teams within each age group.
- Communication: All tryout registrants will get direct communication from us with details of team placement after our staff has finished evaluating the age group. Our goal is to communicate with each player within a week following the last tryout for their age group. If there is an extension in team decisions, as is sometimes needed, we will communicate that with you.
- Acceptance Link: If you have earned a spot on one of our Competitive Team rosters, we will email you an acceptance/registration link. The link will be sent to the email address associated with the account your family used to register for tryouts.
- Confirmation and Acceptance: Please confirm your acceptance by paying a commitment fee that guarantees your player’s roster spot. The commitment fee is non-refundable.
- Player Administration: Following confirmation and acceptance the Club Administrator or Club Registrar will contact families via email to collect any additional paperwork required to register the player with EPYSA. (i.e. Proof of Birthday, Medical Waiver and Player Headshot photo)
- Uniforms: Eagle FC gets new uniforms every other year. All players will be sent links from Soccer Post with instructions on ordering uniforms. If we are in the middle of our current uniform cycle, only new players will be required to purchase the kit. Returning players will not have to purchase a uniform, but will have an opportunity to order replacement items if needed. New cycles begin in even years (ex. 2024-2025 was a new cycle, 2025-2026 will be mid-cycle).

Individual players who are unable to attend a scheduled age group tryout should contact Brian Redding, Director of Coaching via email bredding@eagle-fc.com prior to tryouts to discuss alternative options.
