MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – The Eagle FC Women would like to welcome West Chester University Forward, Faith Matter for the 2024 Eagle FC USL W League Season!
Faith, a player from Middletown, PA, had a standout 2024 season, earning several honors while etching her name into the record books. Appearing in 18 games with 18 starts, Matter logged 1,288 minutes, scoring nine goals and tallying 11 assists for a team-leading 29 points. She delivered game-winning goals on 10/12 vs. East Stroudsburg and 11/6 at Millersville.
In her three seasons with the Golden Rams, she has made 66 appearances (57 starts), scoring 29 goals and recording 32 assists. Her 11 assists in a single season tie her for the second-most in program history, and with 32 career assists, she is just one shy of tying the all-time record. Additionally, her 29 career goals and 87 career points have earned her a place in the program’s top five in both categories.
A standout in the PSAC, Matter was named PSAC East Player of the Year and earned First-Team All-Conference honors. She was also selected for D2CCA Second Team All-Region and United Soccer Coaches First Team All-Region. Matter made history as the first PSAC player to win both Athlete and Rookie of the Year honors in consecutive years, joining a select group of elite players. She will be joining us for the summer before heading back to West Chester for her senior year!
