MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – The Eagle FC would like to would like to welcome Eagle FC Alumni and University of Pitt. Johnston MF/F, Julia Mayernick to the Eagle FC’s 2024 USL W Roster.
A native of Mechanicsburg, PA, Julia was a Four-Year varsity player for Mechanicsburg High School where she led them to two PIAA District Championships and to a spot in the PIAA State Semi-Finals. Additionally, she played the Eagle FC 03 Impact, where she helped them to the top ranked team in the country while also reaching the USYS National Semi-Finals. This past season as a freshman, Julia made 18 appearances (13 Starts) for the Panthers. She will be joining us this upcoming summer before heading back for her sophomore campaign.
Eagle FC has a large role in shaping who I am as a player. I grew up playing with Eagle FC up until I was a senior and would not be where I am today without the support of everyone involved at the club. This club has also been a part of my family’s history. My Dad played for Eagle FC up until the end of high school. He then coached my brother and I for most of our soccer careers. I am extremely grateful to be able to continue growing as a player through Eagle FC and look forward to competing in the USL W League.
