MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – The Eagle FC Women would like to welcome Big South / High Point University Defender and Eagle FC Alumni Carly Smith to the Eagle FC’s 2022 USL W Roster. Carly is a standout player from Mechanicsburg, PA where she led Cumberland Valley High School to multiple district championships, was named to the PA All State Team, four-time Mid-Penn Conference All-Star, named MaxPrep Player of the Year, and led her Eagle FC team to 4 USYS State Titles and 2 USYS Regional Titles. Additionally, she helped lead High Point University to a 2021 Big South Conference Championship!
I am extremely excited and honored to join Eagle FC in the inaugural USL W League season. This is an incredible opportunity to further women’s soccer, and I cannot wait to be a part of such an amazing team filled with talented players. I am looking forward to being able to play for the club that has supported me my entire soccer career and will help me further develop as a player.
