MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – The Eagle FC Women would like to welcome former Delaware State Captain and current Dominican Republic’s Senior National Team Defender, Lynette Urena to the Eagle FC’s 2023 USL W League Roster. A native of Santo Domingo, D.R., Lynette appeared in 11 matches for the hornets during the 2022 season. She was part of the Dominican Republic Women’s National Team that competed in the 2022 Concacaf World Cup Qualifiers (Australia and New Zealand 2023), the U-20 National team that competed in the CONCACAF Women’s U-20 Championship in 2020 and capped for the Senior National team in 2019 during the CONCACAF Women’s Olympic Qualifying Championship qualifications. She has been representing her country since 2017.
The opportunity to play for Eagle FC in the USL W League means the beginning of a new journey for me and my teammates to continue preparing ourselves for the next level of our football careers. I am looking forward to this opportunity and competing at the highest levels this summer!
