MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – The Eagle FC Women would like to welcome back Ecuadorian Senior National Team, Big South Conference, and High Point University Midfielder Marthina Aguirre to the Eagle FC’s 2024 USL W Roster.
A native of Denville, New Jersey, Marthina moved back with her to Quito, Ecuador. Marthina is a member of the Senior Ecuadorian National Team where she has over 20 Caps and 4 goals for her country including 2 goals in the 2022 Copa America tournament. This past season, she was an integral part of our midfield, logging over 800 minutes, and helping lead us to the USL W Mid-Atlantic and Eastern Conference titles
This past season, she made 13 appearances for the Panthers. She will be joining us this summer before heading beginning her professional career!
Coming back to play for the Eagle FC family fills me with joy to be part of a tremendous culture. I am thankful to have this opportunity to play soccer in a high level under the leadership of a great coaching staff and I am looking forward to getting started!
