MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – The Eagle FC Women would like to welcome former Bridgewater College Goalkeeper Sydney Davis to the Eagle FC’s 2023 USL W League Roster. At Bridgewater College, she appeared and started in 69 matches, posted 24 shutouts, and had an overall GA Average of 0.74. As a result, she currently holds the program record in wins (44) and shutouts. During her time at Bridgewater, she was named VaSID State Defensive Player of the Year, 1st Team VaSID All-State, United Soccer Coaches 2nd Team All-Region, and x2 1st Team ALL-ODAC. This past season, Sydney signed a professional contract to play for FC Carmen Bucuresti of Liga 1 Feminin in Bucharest, Romania. She will be joining us this summer before heading to be the Women’s Assistant Coach at Dickinson College.
I am excited to play for Eagle FC in my second year in the USL W League. I am looking forward to playing with such a talented group of players and competing at the highest levels! I can’t wait to get started!
