Eagle FC Women Add AAC All-Freshman Forward Furuya

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – Eagle FC Women have announced the addition of University of Memphis forward Mihiro Furuya ahead of the 2026 USL W League season.

Furuya joins the squad following a highly productive freshman campaign at Memphis, where she earned Third Team All-AAC honors and was named to the AAC All-Freshman Team. She made 20 appearances with eight starts, contributing two goals and three assists in conference play while establishing herself as a consistent attacking threat.

Throughout the season, Furuya demonstrated her ability to influence matches in multiple ways, combining pace, technical ability, and vision in the final third. Her performances earned her multiple AAC Freshman of the Week honors and highlighted her potential as one of the conference’s rising talents.

Prior to her collegiate career, Furuya spent six years developing with Shonan Bellmare in Japan, competing in a high-level environment that emphasized technical precision and tactical awareness. She also featured in the Empress’s Cup, gaining experience against top domestic competition.

Hailing from Hiratsuka, Japan, Furuya brings a dynamic and versatile attacking profile to Eagle FC Women and will look to make an immediate impact as the team prepares for the upcoming 2026 campaign.
