Match Recap: Eagle FC Women Dominate In Season Opener

Eagle FC Women Led by Hollenbach and Faddoul

MECHANICSBURG, Pa.

Eagle FC Women delivered one of their most complete performances of the season Saturday night, overwhelming Patuxent FA in a dominant 10-0 victory fueled by relentless attacking pressure, fluid movement, and a clinical final third display.

From the opening whistle, Eagle FC controlled possession and dictated the pace of the match, creating dangerous opportunities through quick combinations and aggressive runs behind the defensive line. The breakthrough came in the 11th minute whenE lisa Garcia (Fairleigh Dickinson University) opened the scoring off a perfectly timed setup from Aaliyah PF, setting the tone for what would become a long night for the opposition.

Just two minutes later, Mihiro Furuya (University of Menphis) doubled the lead after another assist from Aaliyah Faddoul (Georgia State University), whose creativity and vision consistently unlocked the Patuxent FA defense throughout the first half. Eagle FC continued to apply pressure and found a third goal in the 30th minute as Justyce Hollenbach (La Salle University) finished another opportunity created by Aaliyah Faddoul.

The attacking momentum never slowed. Meg Tate (Drexal Unviersity) added Eagle FC’s fourth goal in the 37th minute, again assisted by Aaliyah before Justyce struck once more just before halftime to send Eagle FC into the break with a commanding 5-0 advantage.

The second half brought more of the same as Eagle FC continued to press forward with intensity and confidence. Hollenbach completed an outstanding individual performance with two more goals in the 52nd and 54th minutes, including one assisted by Celine Ottah (University of Pittsburg). Moments later, Ottah added another assist, this time finding Gaby Eckroth (UMASS Lowell) for Eagle FC’s eighth goal of the evening.

Emily Bacon (Babson College) joined the scoresheet in the 59th minute after a setup from Kate Hawley (University of Vermont), and fittingly, Aaliyah capped off her remarkable performance with a goal of her own in the 69th minute off an assist from Mia Leath (UAB). Megan Holland (University of Kentucky) and Sophia Hall (University of Delaware) combined with a clean sheet.

The match highlighted the squad’s attacking depth and chemistry, with multiple players contributing both goals and assists throughout the night. Eagle FC Women’s ability to combine quickly, move off the ball, and maintain their intensity for the full 90 minutes proved too much for Patuxent FA to handle.

Beyond the scoreline, the performance reflected the identity Eagle FC Women continue to build — a team committed to playing together, competing with purpose, and maintaining high standards every time they step onto the field.

The Eagle FC Women will regroup and return to action on Sunday, May 24, 2026, facing cross-town rivals Lancaster Inferno at 7:00 PM at Clipper Magazine Stadium.
