MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – The Eagle FC Women would like to welcome UMass Lowell commit Gaby Eckroth for the 2024 Eagle FC USL W League Season!
A talented MF/F from Mechanicsburg, PA, Gaby played for the PA Classics Girls Academy team throughout her HS Career. During this time, she led PA Classics to a State Championship and the final-four of the Girls Academy Champions League Cup.
This past season (2023), Gaby decided to play for her hometown high school (Mechanicsburg) her senior year and made an immediate impact on the field. She led the Wildcats to a 10-win season, a Keystone Division Title, birth to the PIAA District Semi-Finals, and a run in the PIAA State playoffs. During her senior campaign, she netted 21 Goal / 9 assists and was named the Mid-Penn Keystone Division Player of the year, named to the Mid-Penn Conference 1st Team, and was named to the PA All-State Team. Gaby will be joining us this summer before heading to UMass Lowell for her freshman campaign.
Playing for Eagle FC in the USL W League is a great way for me to play against high level players and continue to grow as a player for the next few years. This is something that is super exciting to me, and I can’t wait to get started.
