The Eagle FC Women were back home against the defending 2022 Mid-Atlantic Division Champions McLean in a big Clash on June 14th. McLean struck first on a Julia Leas goal in the 25th minute. Eagle FC was able to level the score in the 37th minute where Nia Christopher made a great 35 yard run before threading a ball through to Courtney Butlion who beat the defender end line and played the ball across for a Chloe Adler Goal!
Both teams continue to have chances, but in the 87th Minute, Jamie Swartz decided to take into her own hands, by taking 2 defenders on for a 40 yard run, before serving a ball in the box for a Jazlyn Moya Santos header. McLean would up getting another opportunity, but Eagle FC was able to to hang on!

Our next home game will be on June 21, 2023, against FC Marauders. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 PM at Mountain View Middle School. It will also be Sponsor Recognition Night and Eagle FC Youth Night.
