MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – The Eagle FC Women would like to welcome back Eagle FC Alumni and High Point University Defender Carly Smith for the 2024 Eagle FC USL W League Season!
This past season, Carly started in all 18 matches for the Panthers, leading their back-line and logging 1,330 minutes. Additionally, she registered her first collegiate assists versus Charleston Southern on October 14th. During the 2023 USL W League season, she was an integral part of our back-line, logging over 1,300 minutes and helping us capture the 2023 Mid-Atlantic Division and Eastern Conference titles. Her contributions did not go unnoticed, as she was named to the 2023 USL W League Team of the Year 2nd Team.
It means so much to be able to play for the club I grew up playing with that has provided countless opportunities and shaped me into the person and player that I am today. I love playing with this team and battling alongside my amazing teammates and I cannot wait for this season.
