MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – The Eagle FC Women would like to welcome Canadian National Team and Wake Forest University Midfielder Nikayla Small for the 2024 Eagle FC USL W League Season!
A native of Pickering, Canada, Nikayla was a member of the U15 / U17 Canadian National team where she was named to the Best XI during the CONCAF Championships. Additionally, she was selected for the Senior Canadian National team during the Celebration Tour in 2021.
Nikayla started her career in 2021 at Wake Forest University where she appeared in 20 matches (started 19) while recording 1 Goal / 5 Assists, while being named to the All-ACC Freshman team. This past season, she made 18 appearances (17 starts) for the Demon Deacons while tailing 7 assists. She ranked 57th in the nation and 8th in the ACC with .39 assists per gram and helped lead Wake Forest to a 10-3-5 record.
I’m so excited to be a part of the Eagle FC organization where I have heard so many positives things about the team culture and competitive nature. I can’t wait to play in the USL W League and play with / against the top players in the country
