MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – The Eagle FC Women would like to welcome Finland National Team and University of Central Florida MF/F, Annika Huhta for the 2024 Eagle FC USL W League Season!
A native of Espoo, Finland, Annika began her collegiate career at the University of North Carolina where she made 11 appearances for the Tar Heels during her freshman year before transferring to Central Florida. This past season, she appeared in 12 matches (7 Starts) for the Knights leading them to the XII Conference Semi-Finals.
Additionally. Annika has represented the Finnish National team at the U16-U23 levels, while playing for the U17s at the FIFA World Cup (Uruguay) and U19s during the Euro Qualifications tournament. She has netted 12 Goals for her country during all competition. She will be spending the summer with us before returning to the University of Central Florida.
This is my first time staying in the United States and playing in a summer league. I am looking forward to being part of a great culture at Eagle FC and competing at the highest levels. I am looking forward to this opportunity and playing alongside this special group of players!
