Eagle FC 7v7 Summer League 2022 Boys Champion: Mechanicsburg Area Senior High
Thank you to all of the teams who participated in our 2nd Annual Eagle FC 7v7 Summer League for high school boys and our 1st Annual Eagle FC 7v7 Summer League for high school girls.
The boys season culminated with a competitive game between Mechanicsburg and Cedar Cliff. The game was close throughout with Mechanicsburg winning the championship division title 6-4 over a spirited Cedar Cliff. Many thanks to all of our participants this year: Cedar Cliff, Camp Hill, Mechanicsburg, Red Land 1, Red Land 2, Shippensburg 1, Shippensburg 2, Trinity, and West Shore Christian.
Our girls league featured teams from Carlisle, Dover, Mechanicsburg, and Trinity HS in a 6 game format. The club was very pleased to offer this opportunity to local girls high school teams and we hope to build on this success to offer a full season for our girls teams this upcoming summer.
Eagle FC 7v7 Summer League 2021 Boys Champion: Red Land High School White
Thank you to all our summer league participants for the 1st Annual Eagle FC 7v7 Summer League for high school teams.
The season culminated with an exclamation as Red Land White faced Shippensburg High School for the league championship. Red Land fought out to a 3-0 lead, but Shippensburg did not yield and battled back in the second half with three unanswered goals, including the game tying goal just moments before the end of the game. Red Land showed its own resolve finishing twice in extra time to win 5-3 in a well played match.
