For the 2025 Winter Season, Eagle FC is offering an exciting opportunity for kids to get out and play. We will have Open Play Sessions on Saturdays at the Splex in Mechanicsburg. All sessions are co-ed and and for this season, we will have opportunities for players in 1st through 6th grade. Sessions are open to all players (recreation, travel, non rostered players, etc) who want to play.
Sessions will be run by our qualified travel team coaches and will consist of 15 – 20 minutes of skills/warm up, with the remainder set up as organized play.

WHAT TO BRING
This camp is for young players who want to learn the basics and enjoy playing the game. At each session, campers will be introduced and taught skills such as dribbling, passing, receiving, and shooting via fun and thoughtful activities. Additionally, campers will play small sided games that encourage movement and engagement in a positive environment.

This camp has an individual skills-based curriculum that incorporates technical development and decision-making techniques into a fun team/game setting. During each session, campers will receive instruction on the essential skills of passing, receiving, dribbling, turning, etc. These skills are then developed even further in small sided games and other fun activities. By the end of the week, parents will see improvements in their child’s technical ability, decision making, confidence, individual foot skills, creativity, defending, and finishing ability.

Putting technical development and decision making at the forefront of its curriculum, our Attacking, Defending and Goalkeeping Competitive Camp will help the more competitive player to learn skills, techniques, and decision making that are critical in the Attacking and Defending phases of play. The camp will focus on the individual field player and goalkeeper, but campers will also learn how these critical skills and decisions will translate to the team success in addition to their individual improvement. By the end of the camp, parents will see improvements in their child’s technical ability, decision making, confidence, individual foot skills, creativity, defending, and attacking ability.

The Soccer Portion – The soccer portion of this camp is an individual skills-based curriculum that incorporates those skills and techniques into a team/game setting. Each morning, campers will receive instruction on the essential skills of passing, receiving, dribbling, turning, etc. These skills are then developed even further in small sided games and other fun activities.
Swim Portion – The campers will walk from the Hampden Park Pavilion over to the Hampden Park swimming pool. We will have our staff still on-site at the pool overseeing the participants inside the pool facility. The Hampden Park pool staff will be in charge of watching the participants in the pool as they will with any other pool patron. The pool staff will review all rules, guidelines, and oversee a basic swim test on all participants to ensure the safety of enjoying the swim portion of camp.
